    After the completion of these courses you will experience more confidence in your ability to choose foods that will elevate athletic performance, provide infinite energy and help to speed up recovery. The courses teach a balanced fundamentals approach to nutrition. They do not encourage weight loss, strict calorie counting or fad diets but instead hope to set the stage for a healthy life long relationship with food.

  • ATHLETES, PARENTS, COACHES

    Athletes 12 years old and under, it is suggested that parents and kids watch the video lessons together. This helps kids stay on task. Athletes 13 years old and up can generally complete the courses on their own as they are more motivated to improve their athletic performance. To reinforce the food as fuel concept at home and throughout the season, it is strongly recommended that parents and coaches complete the courses as well. You might learn more than you think! Understanding the right foods to have on hand is a critical step to helping kids make healthy choices for themselves.

  • COURSE SET-UP

    Courses take approximately 60 - 90minutes to complete. They are broken down into bite size mini video lessons 6-12 minutes long, followed up by optional review quizzes to help retain the material. Engage on any digital device including phones, Ipads or computers. For groups, you can access ‘Kahoot’ (on-line game based learning platform) so athletes can have fun testing their nutrition knowledge individually or make it into a team building exercise by adding friendly competition and grouping teammates.
