With 20yrs of experience teaching, lecturing and consulting, Tracy has fine tuned the ability to make the fundamentals of nutrition simple to understand as well as practical to incorporate into your daily food regime. Tracy focuses on the 'why' we want to choose the foods we do to increase our energy and better our overall vitality without feeling guilty even when things do not always go 100% as planned. As a former national level Track and Field athlete Tracy can relate to how important sports nutrition is to athletic performance. The 10 last years, Tracy has been educating young athletes to not only make healthy choices when away from their parents/guardians, but she also teaches them to cook and feel more confident in the kitchen. Tracy loves nothing more than sharing her wealth of knowledge with others that are also keen to learn how to use food as fuel. In 1996 Tracy won gold at the Canadian University Championships in the 60mh and was a member the of both the 4x200 and 4x400 relay teams that won 4 consecutive national titles.
